Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.
- I possess professional experience in cyber intrusion analysis and technical data evaluation within cyber threat landscapes.
- I have demonstrated expertise in software development within team environments.
- I am proficient in forensic, network, and malware analysis using tools and scripting languages such as Python, C/C++, or Assembly.
- I have hands-on experience with Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel.
- I am familiar with reverse engineering, static/dynamic malware analysis, network traffic analysis, memory forensics, and disk forensics.
- I have experience in developing and managing tools for various operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
Responsibilities
- I analyze and interpret cyber threat data to uncover adversary activity and system weaknesses.
- I conduct forensic, network, and malware analysis, including both static and dynamic examination of binary files.
- I perform reverse engineering of compiled software and functional analysis of source code, scripts, and hardware/firmware.
- I develop software solutions and prototypes to enhance cyber detection, response, and analytical capabilities.
- I leverage Splunk Enterprise Security and Microsoft Sentinel for ongoing monitoring, incident detection, and investigation.
- I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, test, and deploy new tools in secure environments.
- I stay informed about evolving threat vectors, adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), as well as digital forensics methodologies.
- I document technical processes, tool usage, and analytical findings for both technical and executive audiences.
Description
At D A LABS, Inc., we are looking for a highly skilled Cyber Capability Developer - Senior to join our advanced cybersecurity development team in Huntsville. As an ideal candidate, you are a technically driven professional who is passionate about addressing complex cybersecurity challenges. You thrive in collaborative, mission-focused environments and bring both development expertise and analytical insight to support national security and enterprise defense initiatives. This position is full-time, with a salary range of $145,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year. Desired experience includes 8 years with SPLUNK and 1 year in sentiment analytics. A TS/SCI security clearance is required, and the ability to commute to Huntsville, AL 35811 is necessary. Preference will be given to candidates who can relocate to Huntsville, AL 35811 before starting work. Please note that this role requires in-person attendance.
