Senior Director, Data Center Operations

- Oversee overall management of facility operations - Supervise employee management processes including recognition, reviews, and career development - Conduct interviews and the hiring process for new team members - Ensure employee training programs are executed and updated as necessary - Uphold and maintain operational policies and procedures - Collaborate with the Implementation Manager to facilitate smooth project implementations for clients - Review terms and conditions of customer contracts and orders - Act as Implementation Manager for designated key accounts to ensure successful delivery of services, including tracking and reporting project costs - Develop scopes of work for environmental consulting services - Partner with Sales to prepare proposals for environmental services - Ensure proper connectivity and monitoring for delivered services through collaboration with Operations - Support initiatives for environmental compliance management with the VP of Data Center Operations - Establish and oversee environmental monitoring solutions for all facilities within the NOCC - Manage daily operations regarding air, power, fire, and access systems - Proactively create and implement maintenance operational activities - Report on compliance with SLA requirements - Track capacity status and future projections for the facility - Collaborate with the Security Manager to ensure monitored and controlled access points - Resolve security issues and conduct post-event analyses - Design and implement access levels for clients and vendors while overseeing security operations - Manage agreements with subcontractors for building maintenance - Oversee asset tracking and reporting processes - Administer daily operational reporting for key performance indicators - Ensure business continuity planning updates and conduct regular audits - Handle the resolution of customer issues and analyze alert triggers - Compile and distribute emergency action communications - Facilitate the transition of customer engagements to operational phases - Create and adhere to annual operational and capital expenditure budgets - Lead strategic initiatives for the organization and monitor their implementation - Perform additional tasks as required
