Requirements

Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in mechanical project management, ideally within mission-critical or data center settings. - Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chilled water plants, CRAH/CRAC units, piping systems, and mechanical equipment installation. - Proven track record in managing subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and procurement for intricate mechanical scopes. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, specifications, and BIM models. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong client interaction capabilities. - Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in dynamic, high-pressure environments. - Familiarity with project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet), Microsoft Office, and construction documentation systems. - Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

- Direct the execution of mechanical scope for data center projects, covering cooling systems, piping, equipment installation, and essential infrastructure upgrades. - Oversee project timelines, budgets, procurement, and resource planning from initiation through commissioning. - Collaborate with design engineers, BIM/VDC teams, and trade partners to ensure constructability and conformity with project specifications. - Assess drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs to uphold technical accuracy and compliance. - Supervise installation quality, safety performance, and alignment with mechanical standards and client specifications. - Conduct weekly project meetings, monitor progress, and address issues that may affect timelines or costs. - Maintain open communication with clients, offering updates, forecasts, and risk management strategies. - Assist in commissioning activities, system testing, and turnover documentation. - Promote continuous improvement in processes, workflows, and field execution.
