AI/ML Engineer - WISRD Platform & Tactical Edge

- Lead the design and development of AI functionalities to allow users to query ISR data, generate insights, and execute mission workflows through natural language - Create and manage RAG pipelines utilizing structured and unstructured operational data - Implement and fine-tune vector search, embedding pipelines, and hybrid retrieval strategies for accurate results - Construct and support a provider-agnostic LLM integration layer suitable for both enterprise AI services and self-hosted models - Design robust AI systems that function effectively in disconnected, degraded, intermittent, and low-bandwidth environments - Direct model selection, fine-tuning, and evaluation using domain-specific datasets - Develop backend services and APIs for orchestration, context management, and intent parsing - Integrate AI functionalities into the WISRD platform for real-time user engagement and workflow automation - Establish MLOps pipelines, assess model performance in terms of accuracy, latency, and cost, and continually enhance system quality - Validate that AI solutions adhere to security, data handling, and multi-enclave operational standards
