Requirements
Must:
- Hands-on experience with WordPress and WooCommerce (school, freelance, personal projects all accepted)
- Proficient in building responsive layouts using Elementor
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS (including tweaks, debugging, and minor styling fixes)
- Strong attention to detail and reliable follow-through, with the ability to receive constructive feedback
- Familiarity with GA4 or Google Search Console, basic conversion rate optimization or A/B testing (nice to have)
- Experience in performance optimization (caching, image optimization, Core Web Vitals) (nice to have)
- Acquainted with common WordPress plugins (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance pages in Elementor (including home, category, product, blog, and high-converting landing pages)
- Maintain and refresh website content including product descriptions, images, promotional banners, pricing notes, and seasonal updates
- Enhance user experience and conversion rates on both desktop and mobile (addressing navigation, product discovery, page layout, cart, and checkout flow, as well as trust signals)
- Apply SEO fundamentals such as metadata, heading structure, internal linking, image alt text, and schema-friendly content structure
- Create marketing assets including landing pages for launches and sales, email capture sections, as well as popups and promotional modules
- Utilize AI tools to expedite the execution of tasks (for copy drafts, image variations, layout designs, and quality assurance checklists)
- Conduct quality assurance and troubleshoot issues like broken links, layout inconsistencies, and plugin conflicts, alongside basic performance and security hygiene
- Analyze key metrics such as traffic, conversion rate, bounce rate, and cart abandonment to propose and implement improvements
