Requirements
Must:
- Familiarity with a diverse range of clients typical of a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Advanced proficiency in Office 365 Administration, particularly in Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Experience with network configurations, routing, switching, firewall setups, TCP/IP, and remote access/VPNs.
- Capability to configure and manage email security protocols, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Basic understanding of Azure Active Directory, Virtual Machines, and resource management.
- Intermediate knowledge in networking fundamentals, such as DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows and macOS environments, software deployments, and user profile management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Azure Active Directory, and Active Directory (GPOs, user management).
- Proven troubleshooting abilities to resolve hardware/software issues, diagnose network challenges, and implement IT security measures.
- Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified credentials (e.g., MS-100, MS-101).
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills combined with a friendly attitude.
- A commitment to learning and growing, showcasing a proactive approach to acquiring new technologies and enhancing processes.
- This position operates on an Eastern Standard Time schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Level 2/3 IT Helpdesk support by addressing and resolving client issues efficiently on Windows, macOS, and mobile devices (iOS/Android).
- Maintain organization and manage your tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Administer and configure Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Security & Compliance Centers, and OneDrive.
- Handle network management and troubleshooting by configuring network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall rules using platforms like SonicWall, Meraki, and Unifi.
- Use Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, policy enforcement, and utilize Windows Autopilot for device provisioning.
- Assist in tasks related to Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, and cloud resources management.
- Set up email security protocols like SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to ensure secure email delivery across client domains.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PCs, laptops, printers, and other peripherals; support software installations, patch management, and driver updates.
- Foster positive client relationships by maintaining a helpful and friendly demeanor while providing assistance.
- Keep accurate records of service tickets, document solutions, and ensure timely communication with clients using ITSM tools.
- Contribute to various IT projects, including on-site hardware installations, network setups, software migrations, and cloud service deployments.
- Be available for on-call support as needed to tackle urgent issues.
- Provide training and guidance to clients on best practices, system usage, and IT security protocols.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
