Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Microsoft Azure/Fabric or data engineering certifications preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or data infrastructure
- Proven experience in building and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines within a cloud environment
- Familiarity with CRM data integration; experience with Salesforce or similar enterprise CRM is advantageous
- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data services, or comparable cloud platforms is highly regarded
- Essential proficiency in API integrations for connecting systems and automating data flows
- SQL Server experience and knowledge of data migration are beneficial
- Experience in CRM migration or modernization as a data engineer is highly appreciated
- Competency in using Git for version control
- Ability to work autonomously and rapidly acquire new technology skills

- Experience with Microsoft Fabric Data Factory or similar orchestration tools; understanding of medallion architecture is advantageous
- Solid understanding of API-based integrations
- Comprehension of CRM data structures from an engineering perspective
- Ability to implement data governance and security best practices
- Self-driven, intellectually curious, with the ability to learn independently
- Strong problem-solving aptitude with a practical approach to technical challenges
- Collaborative nature, capable of working effectively with analytics, technology, and program teams
- Strong habit of documentation and dedication to data quality and consistency
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain ELT/ETL data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric to transfer and transform data from source systems into the Fabric Lakehouse
- Build and maintain integrations and API connections to automate data ingestion from both internal and external systems
- Write intricate SQL queries and transformation logic to clean, structure, and prepare data for analytical purposes; manage version control of pipeline assets through Git
- Monitor SQL pipeline performance; proactively test, validate, and resolve failures, bottlenecks, and data quality issues
- Support the operations of the Fabric Lakehouse environment, including data ingestion layers, storage architecture, and integration with Power BI and semantic models
- Implement data governance and cybersecurity best practices; ensure thorough documentation for all pipelines, data products, and infrastructural decisions
- Collaborate with analytics, technology, and program teams to comprehend data requirements and convert them into dependable engineering solutions
- Foster a culture of data quality, comprehensive documentation, and continuous improvement across the data platform
- Perform additional duties as needed
