Embedded Systems Engineer

Crescent Systems, Inc. (CSI) is a tailored hardware and software engineering company situated in Richardson, TX. We are looking for a seasoned Embedded Engineer to join our Hardware Department. The ideal applicant is a proactive individual with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, capable of working alongside customers and end-users to define system requirements and specifications throughout the product development lifecycle. You will design, develop, and manage embedded systems within our hardware products, working as a member of a diverse team and engaging in the full program lifecycle from requirements gathering to design, development, integration, testing, validation, and installation support. Preferred qualifications include: - At least 5 years of experience in digital PCB design. - Familiarity with analog PCB designs and materials. - Experience with Xilinx Ultrascale+/Zynq. - Development of board-level test strategies, including pre-test, calibration, and final testing. - Proficiency in FPGA design and simulation using Verilog HDL. - Experience with the Linux Kernel. - Understanding of digital communications, including USB, 10GE, 40GE, and 100GE. - Soldering skills and SMT rework capabilities are advantageous. - Experience within the DoD and aerospace sectors is preferred, along with a current Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance.
