Requirements
Must:
- Strong proficiency in Python with practical application experience
- Hands-on experience in backend development utilizing Django
- Solid understanding of designing and integrating RESTful APIs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Python development
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in backend development
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with front-end developers and product stakeholders to transition platform capabilities from concept to deployment
- Design and implement backend services using Python and Django for robust, scalable, and maintainable applications
- Develop and enhance internal and external APIs that drive key platform features
- Enhance system performance, reliability, and maintenance through thoughtful design and code refactoring
- Conduct code reviews emphasizing quality, clarity, and sustainability
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, staging, and production environments
- Document and share technical insights, tradeoffs, and decisions to foster team knowledge
- Stay updated with backend development methodologies and improvements in the Python ecosystem
Description
We are on the lookout for a Backend Developer who thrives on creating dependable systems, working collaboratively with diverse teams, and transforming ideas into functional software used daily. This hands-on position is integrated within our product and engineering teams, playing a vital role in the ongoing development of the Creovia Platform.
