Senior Network & Systems Engineer

- Engage in hands-on technical engineering duties (70–75%), such as helpdesk escalation, systems management, networking, security, and cloud support. - Architect, administer, and resolve issues related to AWS cloud services (IAM, EC2, S3, VPC, monitoring). - Manage hybrid environments of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint permissions, Azure AD). - Ensure the upkeep of Windows servers, including patching, backups, disaster recovery protocols, and monitoring systems. - Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network devices: switches, routers, firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto), VPN, WLAN. - Implement and oversee security solutions: endpoint protection, MFA, email security, vulnerability management, and security surveillance. - Take part in incident response, root-cause analysis, and remediation activities. - Serve as a Tier 3 technical escalation point for intricate issues across systems, networking, and security. - Oversee endpoint environments (Windows laptops/desktops, SaaS applications, patching, compliance). - Manage user lifecycle workflows and guarantee provisioning standards throughout AD and Microsoft 365. - Lead the execution of IT infrastructure projects including migrations, upgrades, and new technology integrations. - Document systems, create operation runbooks, and enhance processes and automation. - Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical supervision to junior and mid-level IT staff (25–30%). - Coordinate daily tasks, prioritize effectively, and ensure timely IT service delivery. - Collaborate with leadership on technical direction, budgeting, infrastructure planning, and vendor relationships. - Maintain responsibility for system uptime, security integrity, and SLA performance. - Assist in drafting IT policies, security guidelines, and operational documentation.
