Requirements

Must:
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent experience. - 5 - 8 years of experience leading BI or analytics teams. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proven track record of using BI solutions to enhance business outcomes. - Experience managing requirements gathering, prototyping, user acceptance testing, and deployment of BI projects. - Basic understanding of data warehousing and web technologies. Preferred: - Familiarity with BI lifecycle and governance frameworks. - Project management experience; PMP certification is a plus. - Experience in writing SQL queries and analyzing data patterns. - Knowledge of cloud-based BI platforms and data services. - Ability to manage multiple priorities while communicating complex data concepts clearly. - Demonstrated capability to lead with insights and provide strategic recommendations. - Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and capable of working independently with moderate supervision. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with abstract concepts.

Responsibilities

As a Business Intelligence Manager II, you will oversee a small to medium-sized team dedicated to delivering data-driven insights and reporting solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the development and maintenance of BI dashboards, reports, and data models to support our business operations and strategy. - Collaborating with our PMO, Product, Stakeholders, and Engineering teams to ensure data initiatives align with our business goals. - Managing a prioritized backlog of tasks while ensuring data pipelines and reporting artifacts remain clean and clear. - Partnering with infrastructure and data engineering teams to optimize the performance of BI tools and platforms. - Demonstrating a deep understanding of data sources, business processes, and reporting requirements to propose effective solutions. - Analyzing risks and impacts of BI changes on operations and recommending improvements. - Advocating for team standards in data documentation, visualization, and testing. - Effectively communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, recognizing the implications of data both upstream and downstream. - Continuously enhancing BI processes and mentoring team members to improve data literacy and analytical capabilities. - Monitoring the health of BI systems and proactively addressing any issues to ensure high availability and reliability. - Fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous learning within your team.

In addition to a competitive base salary ranging from $129,018 to $189,227, this position comes with an annual variable bonus consisting of cash and equity, ranging from 15% to 30%. Bonus amounts will depend on individual performance, and final compensation will take various factors into account, including role-specific skills and industry experience.
