Requirements
Must:
- 6+ years of enterprise technical leadership in software architecture and development, supporting service and event-based ecosystems
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior developers
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL data stores
- Ability to enhance code quality through effective reviews, testing, proper deployment, monitoring, and proactive adjustments
- Experience in developing distributed applications that interact with cloud-based services
- Additional experience with languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java (preferred)
- Knowledge of Flask and SQLAlchemy ORM (preferred)
- Experience with application containerization tools like Docker and EC2 (preferred)
- Background in developing prompts and frameworks for generative AI (preferred)
- Familiarity with financial services applications (preferred)
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within an Agile development team, participating in stand-up meetings, story pointing, demonstration meetings, and retrospectives
- Break down product-centric features into engineering-driven stories
- Create stories for and provide technical oversight to junior developers in your team
- Partner with engineering, product, data science teams, and business stakeholders to design innovative solutions that align with business needs
- Utilize generative AI tools to enhance and streamline documentation, development, and testing processes
- Spearhead the design and development of new software products and significant enhancements for clients and business partners
- Analyze, vet, and review code to support standardized database and software solutions on an enterprise platform hosted on AWS
- Maintain a hybrid working arrangement at our Southfield, MI office only
