Must:
- Active top secret clearance required - Masters or Doctoral Degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the technical/professional discipline, with at least five years in the DoD - Bachelors Degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 12 years of experience in the technical/professional discipline, including five years in the DoD - Fifteen years of directly related experience along with the necessary certifications, eight years of which must be in the DoD - At least three years of experience in planning or executing military flight test programs - Proficient in planning, directing, and integrating all aspects of test and evaluation functions related to aeronautical weapon systems development, acquisition, and deployment

Responsibilities

- Assist in the development of test documentation including test releases and airworthiness memorandums, coordinating test resource scheduling for integration test infrastructure and operational test aircraft instrumentation, configurations, and relevant USAF test range facilities - Collect necessary documentation from vendors, such as software release and safety of flight memos, aircraft operating limitations, and coordination of the necessary approvals through the program office and ACC - Create and interpret Air Force Form 1067 (requirements document) and Temporary 2 (T-2) modification documentation, ensuring compliance with airworthiness disciplines and military flight release for testing processes - Provide technical assistance to define and coordinate test requirements among contractors, program office IPTs, AFTC, and other requisite test agencies, including required FAA certifications and approvals - Support program management, test management, and systems engineering for fighter weapons systems software development, testing, and fielding - Aid in developing TEMPs, master test plans, and reviewing government and contractor test plans and reports - Utilize government flight test deficiency reporting systems for validating descriptions, assessing hazard severity, and forming recommendations for further testing guidance - Assist in tracking development and operational test enterprise aircraft and manage test configuration, including coordination of maintenance modifications with AFMC - Troubleshoot and resolve anomalies encountered during ground and flight tests, focusing on hardware, subsystems, sensors, and weapon integrations - Participate in fighter weapons systems integration projects for air-to-air missiles and various guided and non-guided weapons - Support flight test programs by evaluating the performance of aeronautical systems, ensuring testing methodologies align with mission needs - Engage in various working groups and IPTs, such as the F-16 ITT, to facilitate ongoing and future testing efforts - Manage the F-16 test aircraft fleet and coordinate with other contractors for the installation of necessary test hardware on designated aircraft
