Requirements
Must:
- Active secret clearance is required.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in a relevant field with at least 10 years of experience in the respective technical or professional discipline, with a minimum of 5 years in the Department of Defense (DoD),
- Bachelors degree in a related area and at least 12 years of experience in the relevant technical/professional discipline, 5 of which must be in the DoD,
- A minimum of 15 years of directly related experience with relevant certifications, with at least 8 years in the DoD,
- Recommended minimum of 10 years in administrative or analysis support experience,
- Recommended 2 years of experience in a DoD acquisition program,
- At least 1 year of experience in Foreign Military Sales (FMS),
- Strong administrative capabilities along with knowledge of FMS policies, processes, and applicable regulations; familiarity with fighter aircraft technology and USAF administrative standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing support for various F-16 FMS programs, collaborating with teams on one or multiple initiatives.
- Aid in planning, organizing, executing, and presenting assessments of program/project management concepts, analyses, studies, and methodologies.
- Help to assess the implications of existing or proposed projects, programs, processes, and policies/laws while suggesting enhancements.
- Support the collection and analysis of manpower data from previous programs and contribute to developing new manpower estimates for upcoming initiatives.
- Assist in preparing documentation for Letters of Request (LORs) and implementing and executing Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs) per the AECA and DoD acquisition processes.
- Aid in gathering, analyzing, evaluating, and documenting information necessary for program or project managers and foreign clients, providing daily administrative support independently, relying on FMS policies, the AECA, and analytical techniques.
- Assist with coordination and securing approvals from the foreign disclosure office prior to disseminating information to foreign partners.
- Participate in preparing briefings and reports while documenting meetings, plans, and discussions with both U.S. and foreign parties.
- Provide project management support for domestic and international travel, which includes identifying travel requirements and meeting room availability; processing government personnel travel orders in the Defense Travel System (DTS); obtaining foreign travel country clearances through the Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance Systems (APACS); and collaborating with security, foreign disclosure, U.S. and foreign embassy staff, overseas MAJCOMs, and SAF/IA representatives to facilitate overseas travel arrangements.
- Assist in advising travelers on obtaining visas, passports, and other necessary travel documents related to FMS, including support with applications if required.
- Conduct CONUS and OCONUS travel in support of F-16 program meetings, reviews, audits, and other activities at both U.S. and foreign government and contractor facilities.
- Interact with foreign liaisons as needed, including providing reference materials to help them address issues related to housing, vehicles, medical needs, travel, and other concerns.
