Requirements

Must:
- Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) - Minimum of six (6) years of overall experience in operations intelligence analysis. - Three (3) years of experience in performing operations intelligence analysis within an AOC/Joint AOC or fixed fighter wing squadron/battalion, employing critical thinking to evaluate message traffic, intelligence reports, and communications to determine their significance, prioritize actionable information, and efficiently disseminate communications throughout the directorate in a timely fashion. - Five (5) years experience with Microsoft Office Tools Suite, internet relay chat, and analytical research methods (Boolean queries). - Successful completion of Open Source (OS) 1 training and Introduction to Middle East Cultural Study (Computer Based Training Course) required, to be completed within three months of employment start, costs covered by AFCENT. - Three (3) years of experience supporting USCENTCOM Missions/AOR within the last ten years. - Proficient in utilizing standard computer applications and intelligence-related automation to enhance analytical efforts and product development. - Strong briefing capabilities, with the ability to convey information clearly.

Responsibilities

- Act as the 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 24/7 primary point for the dissemination of warning intelligence through monitoring multi-domain internet relay chat, organizational emails, web-based Common Operational Picture, and intelligence message dissemination tools. - Maintain an electronic log of noteworthy events and items of interest for the 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 leadership. - Deliver verbal briefings to the 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 and other key leaders as directed, focusing on significant overnight events and items of interest. - Communicate significant activity during non-duty hours to the 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 Responsible Officer (RO) and/or AFCENT A2 leadership as identified in the Senior Leadership Notification Checklist. - Regularly interact with the 9AF (AFCENT) Command Operations Center to ensure consistent warnings across intelligence and operational teams. - Conduct basic research as instructed by the 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 Analysis Division Chief in support of intelligence production. - Retrieve electronic briefings and documents from national intelligence organizations, COCOMs, and deployed/local entities to include them in the 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 Watch electronic file structure. Upload briefing products to 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 leadership e-readers as needed. - Serve as the continuous focal point for research, compilation, and dissemination of the A2 intelligence read file/read book. - Be the primary contact for receiving, logging, distributing, and tracking the status of Intelligence Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Assistance (RFAs). - Undertake duties as a data transfer agent for the 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 Director after completing requisite data transfer agent training. - Monitor the AFCENT/A2 Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) security feed for ongoing visibility of SCIF entrances, maintaining compliance with technical specifications for construction and management of SCI facilities. - Stay current with advancements in technologies and tradecraft relevant to conducting intelligence watch duties, including attending on-site training sessions separate from watch duties when applicable. - Serve as the central contact for SCIF entry after hours, monitoring 9AF (AFCENT)/A2 SCIF alarms and emergency notifications for key personnel.
