Avionics Engineering Support - F-16 WAM (Secret)

- Support the regeneration and conversion of Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) stored Block 15/25/30 F-16 aircraft to the Aerial Target Program. - Assist in defining requirements, overseeing systems engineering milestones, approving subsystem designs, and verifying completed software, hardware, and aircraft designs. - Provide support in identifying Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs), or avionics modifications for F-16 program aircraft, including assessing feasibility and ensuring compliance. - Conduct site visits to evaluate any necessary facility upgrades or improvements for F-16 operations. - Assist in providing inputs and avionics recommendations during Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), conduct kit proofs for F-16 TCTO development, and provide hands-on support as needed. - Evaluate the integrity and capability of the F-16 supply chain to ensure adequate spare parts and repair resources for necessary refurbishments and ongoing support. - Identify potential gaps or risks within the supply chain. - Offer avionics insights to F-16 decision-makers concerning the quantity and blocks of F-16s to establish a functional fleet and maintain a parts pool. - Support the identification of regeneration elements, including preparing requirement documentation, budgeting, gathering cost data, and estimating F-16 SPO resources for weapon system regeneration. - Attend and provide technical inputs during coordination and program management meetings as required.
