Requirements
Must:
- In-depth knowledge of the payment ecosystem, including acquirers, processors, schemes, and regulatory organizations
- Familiarity with fraud detection algorithms and risk management systems
- Experience with payment tokenization, 3DS authentication, and various authorization strategies
- Proven background in managing card payments, digital wallets, and emerging payment methods
- Strong understanding of PCI DSS and other regulatory compliance requirements
- Ability to develop and implement security measures throughout payment systems
- Experience leading technical design reviews and governance processes
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of mentoring and guiding development teams
Responsibilities
- Design and lead the enterprise-level development of digital and retail payment systems
- Oversee the execution of solutions for varied payment methods, ensuring optimal customer experiences
- Make critical design decisions for payment processing platforms, including transaction processing and settlement systems
- Establish and uphold technical standards and best practices within the payment system development framework
- Evaluate and suggest payment technology vendors and third-party integrations
- Develop integrated fraud detection and prevention systems across multiple payment channels
- Create comprehensive technical specifications for payment routing, optimization, and switching systems
- Maintain real-time monitoring and reporting capabilities for payment transactions
- Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and other relevant regulations within payment systems
- Implement security-by-design principles and collaborate on security assessments
- Mentor team members on payment technologies and career advancement
- Collaborate with product managers and analysts to innovate payment features
- Work alongside DevOps teams on deployment strategies and CI/CD pipelines
