Requirements
Must:
- Comprehensive understanding of the payment ecosystem including acquirers, processors, schemes, and regulatory bodies
- Familiarity with fraud detection algorithms and risk management systems
- Proven experience in payment tokenization, 3DS authentication, and security strategies
- Strong background in integrating payment solutions with financial institutions and payment networks
- Demonstrated ability in leading technical teams and managing large-scale projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of PCI DSS and other relevant regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in developing APIs and integration patterns for financial systems
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers and DevOps teams
- Strong mentoring and leadership skills in a technical environment
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the execution of enterprise-level digital and retail payment systems supporting various payment methods
- Lead architectural decisions for payment processing platforms, ensuring real-time functionality and effectiveness
- Establish comprehensive technical standards and best practices for payment system development
- Evaluate and propose payment technology vendors and third-party integrations
- Develop and implement systems for fraud detection and prevention that align with payment flows
- Create technical specifications for routing, switching, and optimizing payment processes
- Develop real-time monitoring, alerting, and reporting systems for payment operations
- Ensure compliance of payment systems with PCI DSS and other relevant regulations
- Implement security measures including tokenization, encryption, and key management solutions
- Collaborate on API development for payment service providers and banking institutions
- Define standards for payment data communication and integration with enterprise systems
- Mentor team members in payment industry knowledge and career advancement
- Facilitate technical design reviews and governance procedures
