Must:
We are looking for a candidate who is a graduate of an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in business or computer science. You should have at least five (5) years of proven experience in computer networks and system administration. Strong analytical abilities, communication, and problem-solving skills are vital. Additionally, specific experience in finance, accounting, IT, and technical roles, along with knowledge of SQL, scripting languages, and system administration, is required.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will oversee all elements of the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. Your duties will include the implementation of administrative networks for ERP hardware and software, which encompasses time and attendance and employee self-service software. You will also be responsible for modifying ERP software, analyzing and resolving ERP hardware and/or software issues, and backing up all information stored on local servers. Furthermore, you will generate specialized employee data reports as requested and manage all quarterly and annual federal/state tax reporting, state retirement agency reporting for both certified and non-certified school employees, and payroll-related data requests from outside agencies. You will supervise the preparation of financial and related reports for state and federally funded projects and assist with budget preparations, including gathering details from general ledger history for budget adjustments. Your responsibilities will also extend to preparing monthly payroll and benefits with variance analysis, providing necessary payroll details to auditors during the annual audit, preparing various statistical reports as directed by the Chief Operating Officer, supervising W-2 and 941 report preparations, and accessing, maintaining, analyzing, and reviewing confidential information regarding potential changes from collective bargaining negotiations. Additionally, you will perform other tasks as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.
Description
This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is evaluated annually per the School Committee’s Policy on the Evaluation of Administrative Personnel. The Director of ERP is a full-time role, requiring a commitment of 260 days per calendar year, with a salary range of $115,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year.
