Requirements
Must:
- Current active DoD Secret Clearance required
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience combined with education
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in network engineering
- Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written
Desired Skills:
- Experience with network development and integration across various protocol standards including TCP/IP, HSRP/VRRP, RIP, OSPF, BGP
- Skills in architecting and constructing complex supercomputing networks
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and problem-solving skills in network environments
- Familiar with networking devices from vendors like Cisco and Arista
- Knowledge of high-speed protocols (1/10/25/40/100 Gig), serial and satellite links, and cable standards
- Basic understanding of Linux OS, SNMP, Python, and Bash is advantageous
- Insight into TCP/UDP protocol packet format is preferred
- Experience with Software Defined Networking using OVS is a plus
- Familiar with Kubernetes and VxLAN technology
Responsibilities
- Support the integration of various network protocols
- Analyze VLAN configurations, spanning-tree protocols, routing (both static and dynamic), ACLs, IP addressing, and subnetting
- Utilize packet analysis tools such as Wireshark for network evaluation
- Collaborate with team members on Systems Engineering & Intelligence related to submarine operations
- Maintain and manage security clearance requirements effectively

We are Craig Technologies, currently seeking a Network Engineer to join our team in Manassas, Virginia, supporting the Submarine Command, Control, Communication Computers, Cyber-Defense & Intelligence contract.
