Requirements
Must:
- Preferred: Associate degree in Healthcare Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Required: 2-6 years of experience in healthcare IT support or a similar area OR an Associate degree in healthcare information technology, information technology, or a corresponding field
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer hardware, including CPUs, RAM, Hard Drives, etc.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an emphasis on building rapport
- Robust documentation capabilities
- Familiarity with TCP/IP based networking
- Capable of working independently with clear direction and initiative
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a team-driven, collaborative setting
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for end user hardware and software requirements
- Conduct routine maintenance for desktop, laptop, telephony, and network systems
- Troubleshoot issues and document solutions with necessary assistance
- Facilitate knowledge transfer forums to identify and resolve technical problems
- Participate in all stages of support including coordination, tracking, monitoring, and resolution of installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, and configuration challenges
- Assist the Service Desk team as needed
- Engage in Level 1 resolutions on a rotating basis, offering direct phone support to aid with Level 1 inquiries
