Requirements
Must:
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or 8 years of equivalent experience
- Required: Over 4 years of experience in IT customer support or a similar domain, emphasizing end-user assistance and troubleshooting
- Proficient in guiding and overseeing a team of service desk analysts, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation
- Ability to help maintain operational effectiveness within the service desk team
- Skillful in collaborating effectively with tier 2 and tier 3 resources to ensure seamless operational performance throughout the incident management process
- Experienced in resource and process management within the service desk team
- Capable of contributing to the formulation of long-term service desk strategies that align with the organization’s broader IT and business goals
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support to end-users of IT systems and applications
- Diagnose and resolve various technical issues efficiently
- Offer guidance and training to end-users to enhance their understanding and usage of IT systems
- Ensure that all support issues are addressed promptly and effectively
- Document and maintain accurate records of support requests and incident reports
- Assist in managing resources and processes for the service desk team
- Collaborate with other team tiers to improve service desk operations
- Help develop strategies that align with organizational objectives for enhanced IT services
