Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or 4 years of related experience in software engineering.
- Less than 2 years of experience in software development, or comparable experience.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in .NET C#, React, and Typescript preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS), is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Docker is beneficial.
- Experience in an agile development environment and effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities for sharing technical insights with varying audiences.
- A genuine passion for software engineering and a team-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy efficient and scalable software solutions based on user stories and acceptance criteria with support from mid-level engineers.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests to uphold software quality and reliability.
- Assist in functional testing for applications, modules, or new features.
- Identify and resolve software defects and production issues.
- Develop expertise in the applications, systems, and services you support.
- Engage actively in Agile ceremonies and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Continuously learn new tools, technologies, and trends relevant to your technical area.
- Explore and implement AI capabilities to enhance code quality, deployment, and innovation practices.
- Receive mentorship from mid-level engineers through technical guidance and peer programming.
