Requirements
Must:
- Professional experience with both static languages (Java, C#, Go) and dynamic languages (Python, Ruby, JavaScript), with an understanding of their respective trade-offs.
- Expertise in distributed systems and comprehension of potential failure modes.
- Proven experience in building internal platforms, developer tools, or scalable automation.
- Familiarity with Git/version control and CI/CD practices.
- Experience in infrastructure as code and API design.
- A successful history of reducing operational toil through intelligent automation.
- Experience with production ownership, including on-call duties and incident response.
- Systems thinking mindset, with an understanding of component interactions at scale.
- Eager to tackle problems and propose solutions during group discussions.
- Open to feedback and able to integrate diverse ideas into actionable solutions.
- Strong technical writing skills, including the ability to create both high and low-level diagrams.
- Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- A bachelors degree in a relevant discipline, accompanied by 4 years of experience in a related field, or an alternate combination of advanced education and experience as specified.
