Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in a related role
- Minimum of 4 years in software development or related domains, or alternative qualifications such as a masters degree with 2 years of experience, a PhD with 1 year, or 12 years without a degree
- Strong analytical skills and experience in requirements analysis, technical troubleshooting, and system integration
- Proficient in modern programming languages, frameworks, and cloud architectures
- Capable of designing scalable and reliable solutions that meet technical specifications
- Excellent partnership building, innovation driving, and execution skills in engineering
Responsibilities
- Collaborate as part of a team to deliver sophisticated product features and system enhancements
- Translate functional and business requirements into actionable technical tasks, utilizing both traditional and AI-enhanced evaluation methods
- Write robust, maintainable code alongside comprehensive automated tests for mission-critical components
- Ensure quality, performance, and security compliance for all assigned development tasks
- Work with peers to ensure design decisions harmonize with architectural guidelines and strategic platform objectives
- Analyze alternative technical solutions and provide insights on frameworks, secure coding practices, and AI-supported options
- Diagnose complex issues using traditional and AI-assisted methods to expedite troubleshooting
- Support modernization initiatives by refactoring legacy code and aid in migration efforts
- Establish and advocate for team coding standards and best practices regarding responsible AI use in development processes
- Mentor junior engineers on AI utilization and best coding practices, fostering a learning environment
- Document methodologies and practices, using AI tools to enhance clarity and consistency
- Share findings and insights from AI workflow experimentation to refine engineering standards and processes
