Must:
We prefer candidates who possess a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security, CISSP, or CEH will be seen as advantageous. We seek individuals with 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or a related technical security role. A strong grasp of cybersecurity principles, risk frameworks, and technical controls, including encryption, identity and access management (IAM), logging/monitoring, and endpoint protection is essential. Familiarity with regulatory and security standards like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS is expected. Hands-on experience or advisory roles concerning cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Microsoft 365 are preferred. Proficiency in documenting security findings, creating risk reports, and assisting with audits is necessary.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to perform a diverse array of cybersecurity tasks across designated functional areas. You will be responsible for delivering technical and procedural support for the secure deployment of systems and devices, including networks, applications, servers, clients, and databases. You will evaluate bug reports, exploit notices, and other alerts, while recommending effective mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will conduct and assist with tests of cybersecurity measures, interpret and implement cybersecurity policies, standards, and requirements, analyze system vulnerabilities, and develop appropriate mitigation plans. Maintaining tools and documentation for investigations, forensics, incident response, and security analysis will also be part of your key responsibilities.
