Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in frontend engineering.
- Proficient in TypeScript and React, with knowledge of advanced concepts like compound components and controlled/uncontrolled APIs.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field; alternative qualifications considered.
- Strong understanding of design token tooling and workflows, including Figma variables.
- Familiarity with WCAG standards and hands-on experience with accessibility testing.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and methodologies.
- Solid visual design sensibility, understanding typography, spacing, and motion.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality in every aspect of design.
- Adaptive and growth-oriented, thriving in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance a cross-platform design system comprising React and web components with a focus on user-friendly APIs.
- Oversee our design token framework, ensuring consistency between design and implementation.
- Leverage MCP tools and AI capabilities to speed up product development while maintaining system readability for AI use.
- Create and manage documentation and interactive components to facilitate easy adoption of the design system.
- Promote best practices concerning accessibility and maintain infrastructure for testing and version control.
- Collaborate with product designers to align design goals with engineering execution throughout the project lifecycle.
