Must:
- I possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have six years of experience in a related area. However, I welcome candidates with alternative credentials, such as a master's degree with four years of experience, a Ph.D. with one year of experience, or a total of ten years in a pertinent field. - I have at least four years of concentrated experience in cybersecurity. - I bring relevant expertise in designing, securing, or operating AWS infrastructure and services. - I can clearly communicate the purpose of specific cybersecurity policies and procedures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - I exhibit exceptional customer service skills, writing abilities, and executive presentation capabilities. - I strive to cultivate a strong and collaborative working environment with key stakeholders and work closely with other cybersecurity teams within the company to implement best practices. - I possess a consultative approach for navigating complex or contentious topics with employees and senior leaders alike. - I can assess risks and propose actions based on their potential impact and likelihood for the business. - I am knowledgeable about current cybersecurity and technology architectures such as zero trust, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, virtualization, containerization, DevSecOps, and software-defined networking across various environments and deployments. - I excel at creatively addressing complex cybersecurity challenges while demonstrating solid business judgment. - I have experience using Agile methodologies and implementing changes in Fortune 1000 companies. - I am familiar with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000, NIST, FFIEC) and industry-specific regulations that inform architectural requirements (e.g., GDPR, FFIEC, GLBA).

Responsibilities

- I communicate cybersecurity guidelines to both engineering and business teams, providing support for the adoption of these guidelines. - I maintain close connections with engineering teams to provide advice on their architectural decisions and assist with the implementation of cybersecurity controls. - I actively contribute to identifying and mitigating cybersecurity risks by analyzing threat models of products and enterprise tools. - I provide cybersecurity architecture consultation across significant programs and solutions. - I engage with my cybersecurity peers to build a united cybersecurity department and share insights on business-specific activities. I serve as the in-house cybersecurity representative for product and engineering teams. - I collaborate with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and engineering teams to assess existing architectures, identify deficiencies, and suggest security enhancements. - I participate in security events and incident responses to identify gaps in current designs and propose solutions to prevent recurring threats. - I educate product and enterprise architects and engineers about cybersecurity best practices and standards. - I partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure that our cybersecurity architecture meets regulatory and contractual requirements.

Description


I am the hiring company for the position of Lead of Integrated Cybersecurity Architecture, directly reporting to the Director of Integrated Cybersecurity Architecture. I am looking for a candidate who will champion our agreed-upon cybersecurity architectural principles, standards, and design patterns, and provide guidance to our engineering teams on building secure products and enterprise tools in multi-cloud and on-premises environments. This role necessitates being an integrated member of our product and engineering teams. Additionally, I offer a base salary ranging from USD 119,600.00 to USD 199,400.00, which may vary depending on the candidate's knowledge, skills, and location. The selected candidate may also be eligible for additional compensation, including an incentive program. I provide benefits that allow eligible employees to take as much paid vacation as necessary, along with seven paid holidays each year and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for personal or family wellness needs. Other paid time off options include bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave. Please note that applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future sponsorship.
