Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a comparable field.
- Alternatively, a masters degree with 2 years of experience; a Ph.D. with up to 1 year of experience; or 16 years of experience in a related area.
- Preferably a major in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience developing software applications using C# and Python.
- Demonstrated expertise with front-end or JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS.
- Experience in designing and implementing automated solutions utilizing cloud-native technologies.
- Strong proficiency in AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices including automated deployments and release orchestration.
- Familiarity with containers and microservice architectures.
- Knowledge of contemporary cybersecurity best practices, including tools like SAST, SCA, and DAST.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Security Engineering Director as part of the Security Engineering Enablement team.
- Collaborate with partner engineering teams to develop applications and services aligned with Security Engineerings mission and objectives.
- Utilize technology tools and processes to enhance secure coding practices within software engineering teams.
- Operationalize application security tools to assist engineering teams in building and delivering secure software.
- Offer specialized support to critical business engineering teams.
- Assist engineering teams in resolving application security issues across various technology stacks.
- Promote the integration of security processes into a declarative pipeline model like CICD practices.
- Communicate opportunities for process and tool automation improvements to the Product Owner.
- Define team tasks and objectives based on continuous analysis of service requests.
- Create automated solutions for tool management and operation.
- Maintain a positive attitude and a commitment to team success.
- Design and develop monitoring systems for automation applications and services.
- Participate in the on-call rotation (approximately every 3-4 weeks).
- Meet or surpass defined service and support Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
- Execute tasks with minimal oversight.
- Collaborate with AI agents to build, test, and deploy software across the SDLC, employing proper contextual inputs.
- Implement AI-powered features and pipelines in our software and contribute to prompt engineering experimentation.
