Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field with 2+ years of experience in designing responsive web or mobile applications, along with a portfolio showcasing effective UX solutions.
- Alternatively, a masters degree with up to 2 years of experience or 6 years of experience in a related area without a degree may be considered.
- Proven experience executing end-to-end product design, covering aspects such as user research, concept development, prototyping, and post-release validation for one or more launched digital products.
- Proficiency in Figma, with capabilities in production design, prototyping, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary product and engineering teams.
- Knowledge of design systems and component-based design methodologies that incorporate reusable elements and templates for consistent product experiences.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and processes that enhance discovery, experimentation, and rapid prototyping in product design.
- Experience in user research tasks including discovery, usability assessments, interviews, heuristic evaluations, or feedback collection, applying insights to evolve designs.
- Background in Agile product teams, providing design materials, specifications, and iterative updates throughout sprint cycles.
Responsibilities
- Transform business requirements and user insights into engaging, user-centric design solutions for both desktop and mobile platforms.
- Participate in user research initiatives, encompassing persona development, heuristic assessments, usability evaluations, and competitive analysis to guide design strategies.
- Develop and refine UX artifacts such as user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, prototypes (both low and high fidelity), and information architecture.
- Enhance and utilize the design system with reusable components, icon libraries, templates, and brand standards to promote uniformity and efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, content strategists, and UX leaders, to align on objectives, constraints, and implementation techniques.
- Clearly articulate design reasoning during design reviews and stakeholder presentations, championing user needs and business outcomes.
- Engage in Agile ceremonies and workflows, delivering design assets, specifications, and feedback throughout the development process.
- Assist in usability testing and analyze behavioral data to validate and optimize design effectiveness.
- Maintain thorough design specifications and collaborate with developers to ensure precise implementation, including participating in user acceptance testing.
- Stay updated on UX trends, tools, and technologies, contributing to the advancement of team processes and design methodologies.
- Effectively manage time by estimating effort, planning schedules, and prioritizing tasks within sprint cycles.
- Employ general-purpose LLM tools to analyze and synthesize user behavior, uncover patterns, and prioritize opportunities for improvements.
- Utilize AI to enhance discovery, experimentation, development, and recommend design enhancements.
