Responsibilities
In this role, I will facilitate the overall management and execution of release planning for the Agile Release Train (ART). This includes collaborating with the ART team to prioritize features for the upcoming Program Increment (PI) planning cycle, guiding the team in refining these features to ensure they meet the Feature Definition of Ready. I will assist in maintaining effective communication and coordination with stakeholders and clients during feature delivery. I will oversee change management within the ART's PI plan and monitor its impacts.
I will also ensure transparency within the ART and its external parties through effective backlog management and maintaining data integrity in our tools for precise reporting. This may involve collecting metrics, KPIs, and investment mix reporting as needed. I will facilitate regular ART reviews with organizational leaders to clarify expected value delivery and gather feedback.
Additionally, I'll assist the ART in continuously improving through quarterly retrospectives or as necessary, aimed at enhancing backlog management, ART reviews, and sprint coordination. I will be an active member of the RTE Community of Practice, driving alignment, and sharing best practices across the organization. Furthermore, I will orchestrate coordination for major feature releases and manage initiatives that span multiple release trains while also addressing escalated issues related to risk and dependency management.
