Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a relevant field, with 6 years of related experience; alternative combinations such as a masters degree with 4 years, a Ph.D. with 1 year, or 18 years of relevant experience are acceptable. - Over 3 years of experience overseeing architecture strategy in M&A technology integration and divestiture projects. - More than 3 years of experience in structured architecture and design practices within a corporate setting. - Proven ability to model complex multi-tier infrastructure architectures and lead design discussions with stakeholders across all organizational levels, ensuring alignment between technical and business goals. - Expertise in one or more domains, complemented by a broad knowledge of cloud platforms, networking, compute, virtualization, storage, monitoring, and security. - Familiarity with cloud computing concepts, particularly IaaS and PaaS. - Experience utilizing AI-augmented tools for analysis and architecture design, along with validating AI-supported outputs for production readiness. - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization. - Demonstrated ability to make and defend architectural decisions influencing the organization broadly. - Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

- Create and govern infrastructure integration blueprints and roadmaps for acquisitions and divestitures across various states. - Develop multi-domain scenario plans with trade-off analyses and estimates connecting current to future states in collaboration with the M&A Center of Excellence. - Generate architecture decisions and design documents that empower teams to implement scalable, secure, and supportable solutions aligned with enterprise strategies. - Produce design artifacts and diagrams that illustrate desired modifications in infrastructure architecture. - Advocate for Cox Automotive infrastructure standards and design patterns, documenting and managing deviations through formal approval processes. - Lead discussions with acquired company stakeholders and CAI Infrastructure and Operations platform teams to synchronize roadmap and sequencing. - Act as a technical expert bridging platform engineering and delivery teams, reviewing designs and enhancing inter-team cooperation. - Conduct virtual and in-person working sessions, including whiteboarding, to foster alignment on integration strategy. - Compile executive-ready summaries that highlight decisions, risks, trade-offs, and progress. - Assess the operational and engineering impact of incoming project scopes and provide insights for downstream planning. - Employ AI-driven techniques for infrastructure due diligence, document analysis, infrastructure classification, technology overlap identification, and risk evaluation. - Utilize AI tools to support optioning, validation, and evaluation of integration architectures. - Aid in architectural governance, compliance, standards assessments, and documentation using structured and AI-enhanced methodologies. - Stay updated on infrastructure and cloud trends, including AI/ML infrastructure patterns, and evaluate their relevance to integration strategies. - Establish yourself as a trusted technical advisor with key internal and external stakeholders.
