Engineer - Core Technologies

- High School diploma or equivalent preferred - At least one year of relevant experience in a hotel or similar environment favored - Trade school or college coursework in a related field is beneficial - Ability and willingness to work flexible and extensive hours as required - Capability to exert heavy force: over 100 pounds occasionally, and/or over 50 pounds frequently, and/or over 20 pounds constantly - Proficient verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and guests in a courteous, friendly, and service-oriented manner - Strong listening and problem-solving abilities to address concerns from both employees and guests - Competence to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines - Attentive, friendly, and service-focused demeanor when interacting with guests and staff - Attendance at all mandatory hotel meetings and training sessions - Consistent attendance in line with Highgate Hotel Standards, adhering to scheduling needs - High standards of personal grooming and appearance, including proper uniform and nametag - Adherence to Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations - Focus on productivity, identifying challenges, and contributing to the implementation of solutions - Effectiveness in managing and resolving issues, including anticipating, identifying, and addressing problems as they arise - Ability to comprehend and apply complex information from various sources to achieve goals - Willingness to cross-train in related hotel areas - Maintenance of confidentiality regarding sensitive information - Initiative to predict and address guest or operational needs - Flexibility to perform additional tasks as directed by management
