Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is mandatory.
- Familiarity with at least two of the following IT concepts: networking, cryptography, operating systems, communication protocols, cybersecurity, information assurance, or risk management.
- Strong analytical and technical abilities – keen attention to detail when assessing IT products and components.
- Excellent oral presentation skills – capable of communicating complex technical information clearly to customers, colleagues, and management.
- Robust critical thinking capabilities.
- Effective time management skills.
- Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting IT products such as firewalls, Ethernet switches, routers, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and cybersecurity tools.
- Basic understanding of commonly used enterprise IT solutions, including authentication servers, NTP servers, syslog servers, virtualization, and container technologies.
- Experience with the Common Criteria standard and associated Protection Profiles.
- Knowledge of ISO or other standards and ability to interpret their requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assess IT systems against Common Criteria standards to uncover and document compliance gaps.
- Review product architectures and supplementary materials to generate required technical documentation for evaluation tasks.
- Set up IT products according to certification-specific deployment instructions.
- Create evaluation documentation for submission to testing laboratories and certification authorities.
- Perform functional testing to prepare evaluation and testing reports.
- Partner with vendors and testing laboratories to address findings, respond to technical inquiries, and implement feedback from reviews.
