Requirements
Must:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Product Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field.
- Strong analytical skills with a foundational grasp of machine learning principles, including recommendation algorithms, NLP, and personalization strategies.
- Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and proficiency in product analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of translating complex technical information into straightforward product narratives.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about learning in a dynamic, cross-functional setting.
- Must be an active full-time student at an accredited institution with at least one year of coursework completed.
- Available to work onsite for 40 hours per week throughout the 12-week summer internship, either from May 27 – August 13, 2026, or June 16 – September 13, 2026.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Assist the product team in the conceptualization and development of AI/ML-driven personalization and recommendation systems that boost customer engagement and conversions.
- Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to establish requirements for machine learning models, ensuring they align with business objectives and enhance user experience.
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of intelligent chat agents aimed at providing contextual product support, discovery, and post-purchase assistance.
- Conduct research into user behaviors, market trends, and new AI technologies to uncover opportunities for improving e-commerce experiences.
- Aid in defining product success metrics, conducting data analysis, and presenting insights that guide roadmap decisions.
- Document insights, product requirements, and key learnings to facilitate internal knowledge sharing and drive process improvements.
