Requirements
Must:
- Extensive knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms and backup solutions
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities across various infrastructure components
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Typically 3-6+ years of experience in systems administration or engineering roles
- Experience in MSP or multi-environment support models is preferred
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft, VMware) are advantageous
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments
- Support virtualization solutions including VMware and Hyper-V
- Apply patches, updates, and firmware following established change management protocols
- Monitor system performance and proactively address issues
- Resolve complex technical challenges escalated from systems administrators and support teams
- Troubleshoot issues concerning servers, identity management, storage, backups, and core services
- Collaborate with vendors and senior engineers to address intricate problems
- Assist in executing infrastructure projects such as server upgrades and migrations
- Implement solutions based on architectural and design specifications from senior engineers
- Document configurations, procedures, and project progress
- Maintain precise documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
- Work collaboratively with network engineers, administrators, and project teams
- Clearly convey technical information to internal teams and clients
Description
