Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing design or the construction field with practical experience in plumbing system installations.
- Comprehensive understanding of CAD mechanical design software.
- Bachelors degree preferred, but not mandatory.
- OSHA 30 Certified (we will provide certification if not held).
Responsibilities
- Serve as a crucial team member, offering technical and field expertise for mechanical aspects of designated projects, particularly drainage evaluations.
- Travel to job sites to manage, troubleshoot, and oversee drainage challenges.
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Construction Project Manager and Operations Department to ensure the successful and timely completion of commercial projects in the Food Manufacturing sector.
- Assist in preparing the scope of work and conduct pre-award interviews.
- Support the development of bid packages, including CAD drawings.
- Conduct constructability reviews and provide recommendations.
- Handle submittals, schedules, and budget analyses.
- Work alongside Quality Inspectors to review all installed work.
- Produce As-Built CAD drawings for finalized projects.
- Resolve mechanical field issues as they arise.
- Coordinate and assist with systems testing, building authority inspections, and the commissioning of mechanical systems.
