Requirements
Must:
- Prior experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is essential
- Practical hands-on experience within a PSA and RMM setting
- In-depth understanding of Microsoft 365
- Proficient in troubleshooting with a focus on systems, patterns, and root cause analysis
- Familiarity with automation tools and AI-assisted technologies, coupled with a genuine interest in optimizing work processes
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Successful completion of a drug screening and criminal background check is a prerequisite for employment
- Preferred experience in creating workflows and automations (low-code automation, scripting, APIs, webhooks, etc.)
- Familiarity with MSP process standards including SLAs, documentation protocols, and escalation procedures
Responsibilities
- Oversee and enhance MSP operational platforms (PSA, RMM, documentation) along with their interconnected workflows
- Develop and sustain automations that minimize repetitive tasks and enhance consistency (from alerts to ticket resolution)
- Improve data integrity and synchronization across systems (covering users, devices, licensing, assets, billing, and alerts)
- Assist in the design and refinement of onboarding/offboarding workflows and internal checklists
- Serve as a technical point of escalation for intricate or recurring issues
- Document system processes to ensure repeatability and auditability

We are an expanding Managed Service Provider based in Nashville seeking an onsite Systems Engineer enthusiastic about automation and enhancing IT operations. This role encompasses real-world troubleshooting, ownership of MSP platforms, and workflow automation. We offer a clear pathway for career advancement towards a senior-level engineer position.
