Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Relevant experience in Vulnerability Management or Cybersecurity Analysis
- In-depth knowledge of various vulnerability classes
- Proficient in identifying and analyzing software bugs, OS flaws, and critical misconfigurations across multiple environments, including cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade vulnerability scanners and Microsoft Defender security posture management platform
- Demonstrated ability to assess technical risk and interpret CVSS scores
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, TCP/IP, common network services, and security controls such as firewalls and IDS/IPS
- Experience in creating concise and actionable reports for both technical and executive audiences
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the integrity of security
- Ability to clearly communicate complex issues and risks to a diverse range of stakeholders
- Proactive mindset towards identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities
- Collaborative approach to working with IT, security, and application teams
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess security weaknesses across our systems to enhance overall security
- Proactively evaluate vulnerabilities and determine their potential impact and exploitability
- Collaborate on effective remediation strategies with system owners
- Provide ongoing monitoring and reporting on the efficacy of vulnerability management initiatives
- Facilitate the timely mitigation of identified vulnerabilities
- Deliver clear communication to stakeholders regarding vulnerability management effectiveness
- Guide system owners on best practices for addressing vulnerabilities effectively
