Requirements
Must:
- Profound knowledge of Terraform (HCL) and GCP architecture
- Familiar with networking, IAM, logging, and monitoring within GCP
- Experience with integrating Terraform into CI/CD and GitOps workflows
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and maintenance
- Solid understanding of state management, secrets handling, and cloud security
- 7-9 years of relevant experience in the field
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated IT project management experience
- Capable of engaging with various levels of staff and management
- Strategic mindset with a focus on results
- 5-10 years of experience in network or data center design preferred
Responsibilities
- Design the infrastructure related to enterprise service delivery, including networking components (routers, switches) and IP address configuration
- Gather technical requirements and formulate implementation plans for requested technologies or solutions
- Architect and design solutions that meet business requirements for high-impact projects
- Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to ensure alignment with IT strategy
- Evaluate potential solutions and make decisions regarding buy vs. build
- Provide architectural oversight throughout the design, build, test, and deployment phases
- Maintain clear communication with team members and management
- Take initiative while maintaining a broad, enterprise view
- Focus on delivering results in all projects undertaken
