Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 7 years of IT experience in infrastructure/network settings with a focus on network planning, architecture design, and optimization
- Proven expertise in defining network architectures for enterprise-level solutions
- Experience working on multiple complex projects as a leader or subject matter expert
- Strong knowledge of both hardware and software engineering in networking environments
- Ability to coach and mentor junior staff effectively
Responsibilities
- Lead high-level planning, design, and optimization for network systems
- Develop strategic directions for network solutions leveraging current and emerging technologies
- Translate business needs into effective network or process designs
- Plan and recommend hardware and systems management software for network architecture
- Approve and modify network designs to ensure they meet compliance requirements
- Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and hubs
- Evaluate and recommend new technological products while staying updated on market trends
- Monitor network performance and conduct capacity planning proactively
- Perform troubleshooting and create resolution scripts for network issues
- Serve as Project Leader for significant enterprise-wide assignments
