Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of IT experience in infrastructure/network environments, focusing on network design, implementation, administration, and support
- Proficiency in designing, installing, and troubleshooting network systems, including wireless technologies
- Knowledge of network architecture, including planning and implementing LAN/WAN/wireless solutions
- Ability to conduct capacity and resource planning and manage network risks
- Experience with network management software and troubleshooting deficiencies
- Capability to provide Tier 2 support and evaluate new products and services
- Familiarity with vendor service level agreements and project management
Responsibilities
- Design, install, and maintain network systems to meet business objectives
- Configure and manage both physical and logical network components
- Assist in the development of network architecture and design
- Plan and implement WAN, LAN, and wireless solutions
- Perform capacity and resource planning while assessing network risks and developing contingency plans
- Implement and maintain network management software
- Research and apply software patches or hardware modifications to rectify network issues
- Provide Tier 2 support, addressing more complex technical problems
- Collaborate on various projects, occasionally leading project efforts and mentoring junior technical staff
