Requirements
Must:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling; VBA knowledge is a plus)
- Experience using a data visualization tool like Power BI is highly advantageous
- Skills in data management and mining
- Financial background is beneficial
- Collaborative mindset
- Strong curiosity and a proactive approach to learning and exploring data
- Excellent analytical skills with a knack for deriving insights from data
- 1-3 years of relevant experience with the ability to learn under senior BI team guidance
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated market intelligence databases and interactive dashboards using Power BI to monitor key performance indicators
- Analyze and forecast global soda ash supply and demand by interpreting market data and tracking the economic landscape
- Conduct in-depth analyses of specific end-markets, key customers, and competitor activities to spot emerging trends, risks, and opportunities
- Perform customer and product profitability analysis to assist in commercial target setting and strategic planning
- Transform complex data into clear reports and presentations, providing actionable insights to address ad-hoc requests from senior leadership
