Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL programming
- At least 5 years developing web application front ends, including HTML and JavaScript framework usage
- A completed undergraduate degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited institution
- Proven experience with full project lifecycle in implementing web-based systems
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Oracle RDBMS
- Prior success in developing applications is essential
- System development experience of at least 3 years
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the outgoing legacy developer to fully grasp the workings of the Syndromic Surveillance module
- Assume ownership of the module while providing ongoing support to its users
- Redesign functionality within the Oracle Apex framework during its modernization phase
- Develop and maintain web applications supporting the Syndromic Surveillance efforts
- Ensure the successful implementation of web-based systems throughout the project lifecycle
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve application issues as they arise
- Work closely with team members to drive the evolution of the modules capabilities
