Requirements
Must:

Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and maintain enterprise-level database systems like SQL Server and Oracle
- Monitor database performance, optimize queries and indexes, and manage storage solutions for peak efficiency
- Ensure compliance with data integrity, security measures, and backup/recovery protocols based on organizational and regulatory standards
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database architecture and procedural guidelines
- Lead projects involving database migrations, upgrades, and consolidations
- Collaborate with developers, data analysts, and system administrators to support application development and data integration
- Automate routine operational tasks utilizing scripting languages such as ETL and PowerShell
- Manage network requirements and requests to meet State government regulatory standards
- Participate in capacity planning and develop disaster recovery strategies, including testing
- Maintain compliance with data governance and privacy regulations
- Provide around-the-clock support for mission-critical systems as needed
