Requirements
Must:
- Associate degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2 years in computer networks, system maintenance, and low-voltage systems is preferred.
- Capable of meeting deadlines and managing stress in high-pressure environments.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving multiple technical issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
- Familiarity with IT principles and the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment as needed.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
- Valid drivers license with a good Motor Vehicle Record required (minimum of three years).
- Pre-employment criminal background check is mandatory for hiring.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure hardware and software components for optimal usability.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade telecommunications for over 360 restaurant locations.
- Install and terminate low voltage cabling (RJ45, RG59, CCTV).
- Provide troubleshooting and support for POS systems.
- Conduct tests and assessments on new software and hardware.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with all store managers, vendors, and Cook Out team members.
- Participate in a regular on-call rotation to offer remote support after hours.
- Offer Help Desk assistance for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Assist with servers, LAN/WAN technologies, computer repairs/troubleshooting, software, networking, virus protection, Wi-Fi technology, and more.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
