- Help Desk Technician I:
- Associates degree in IT, computer science, or a related field; experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
- 1 year of IT or technical support experience.
- 2 years of customer service experience.
- Help Desk Technician II:
- 2-3 years of IT experience, especially in network or desktop support.
- 3-4 years of customer service experience.
- Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certifications.
Responsibilities
- Assist team members in resolving their technical issues, regardless of scale.
- Respond to inquiries, offer guidance, and simplify tech-related challenges.
- Monitor ongoing issues and ensure they are fully addressed.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain computers, software, and networks.
- Handle user access and permissions to ensure appropriate resources are available to the right individuals.
- Maintain up-to-date and secure systems.
- Manage IT inventory and software licenses.
- Train staff on our applications and tools to boost their confidence in usage.
- Collaborate with our internal Communications team to develop user-friendly guides for common tech inquiries.
