Requirements
Must:
- Strong focus on security while managing Azure resources.
- Proven hands-on experience with containerized applications in Azure, including Azure Container Apps and App Services, along with Docker fundamentals.
- Background in creating CI/CD pipelines for large-scale infrastructure and application deployments.
- Proficient in managing complex, multi-region Azure networking, including virtual networks, subnetting, peering, and Private Link/Endpoints.
- Familiarity with Azure SQL administration basics, particularly with SQL Database and SQL Managed Instance.
- Experience with SOC 2 and PCI-DSS compliance processes, including maintaining environments adherent to these standards.
- Skilled in PowerShell and/or Azure CLI.
- Capability to produce and understand technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and enhance Azure Container Apps across various regions, focusing on revisions, autoscaling, networking integration, container secrets, and ingress configurations.
- Manage Azure SQL resources by monitoring, tuning, and scaling for optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Bicep/ARM; deploy resources and configuration adjustments via CI/CD through Azure DevOps.
- Administer core Azure services, including virtual networks, storage accounts, and regional load balancing solutions.
- Establish comprehensive monitoring and alerting across all services utilizing Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights; create straightforward KQL queries and dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2 and PCI-DSS standards, including managing logging, change control, encryption, and segmentation; support the collection of audit evidence.
- Collaborate with Development and Technical Support teams to resolve issues with cloud services.
- Partner with the Accounting department on resource tagging, budgeting, and cost reporting tasks.
