Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) or related science, or an active/inactive Professional Engineer license, or an active SRO license with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience including at least 1 year in nuclear power plant operations.
- Compliance with ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard for personnel selection, qualification, and training in nuclear power environments.
- Ability to meet access requirements and pass medical examinations or tests pertinent to job duties.
- Professional Engineer Registration (preferred).
- Advanced technical degree or MBA (preferred).
- Experience in supervisory or managerial roles (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Oversee the engineering functions to align with station requirements and regulatory standards.
- Guide performance and development of engineering staff to achieve high-quality engineering outputs.
- Exercise engineering and technical leadership for both short-term and long-term initiatives affecting site operations.
- Engage in business planning, budgeting, and performance evaluations for assigned teams.
- Act as a senior resource in company-wide programs focusing on improved engineering systems and methodologies.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management, including emergency response, departmental assistance, call outs, and outage support outside of your usual duties.
