Requirements
Must:

- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (non-engineer) and 6 years of experience in the Nuclear or related industry, OR
- An Associate’s degree in a technical field with 8 years of experience in the nuclear or related industry, OR
- A high school diploma/GED plus a minimum of 9 years of experience in the nuclear or related field, with at least 6 years at the exempt level.
- Proficient understanding of engineering processes and systems relevant to the specific functional area.
- Must meet minimum access criteria or unescorted access requirements as necessary, along with a favorable medical examination and/or testing aligned with position responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- I will provide extensive technical expertise to develop, manage, and execute engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
- I will offer technical guidance and hands-on support to identify and address equipment and system issues.
- I will oversee engineering tasks ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in work, while maintaining proper configuration management and adhering to established design criteria, practices, and codes when preparing plans and specifications.
- I will conduct independent research, reviews, and analyses in support of regulatory and technical projects and programs.
- I will suggest equipment, innovative concepts, and methodologies to enhance performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, rectify design or material deficiencies, or comply with updates in codes or regulations.
- I may undertake additional duties assigned by management or in alignment with company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and support for outage activities beyond my department.
